Celestial Senshi
Volume 1 -
The Reawakening of the Legends
Chapter VIII
The next morning, when the bell went, after the students had all settled and the teacher entered. Shinji heard his teacher, Mr Dan Hilton say, Good morning class, before we begin this exciting Geology lesson, I would like to introduce two more students to the class. Make them feel welcomed.
Whats this? New students? some said, Ive never heard anything about new students transferring to this class, I wonder who are they and what are they like.
Thats your cue, so come on in, Mr Hilton called.
The door slid open, and the girls came out of the shadows, many peoples mouths dropped wide open as Sakura and Angela slowly walked in.
Welcome to the class, Mr Hilton said, now introduce yourselves to the class.
Good morning, Im Angela Belle, I was in class 1-N, pleased to meet you, and please take it easy on us, she looked around, thinking, theyd better not pick on us, or Ill show them
How do you do, Im Sakura Fubuki, I also came from class 1-N, pleased to meet you, she smiled she looked so cute.
Now, where can I put you two, Mr Hilton looked around.
The class had five lines and six rows, giving a total of thirty seats. The teachers eyes came to a stop as he looked along the third row, there were three people sitting in the middle, and two empty seats on either end.
A girl toward the left glanced to the right, and then with a slight nod, she stood up and said, Sakura can have my seat, and Angela can have the one beside me, she smiled and walked along to the other end, and sat down.
Sakura recognized her face immediately, Candy? she said.
The two girls smiled and the one next to her said, Im glad you remembered us.
But this is Candy, Im Mandy.
Oh, sorry, excuse me, and thank you for the seats. (Sakura realized that she thought Mandy was Candy.)
No problem, said Mandy, as Sakura and Angela walked over and sat down.
It was when Sakura sat down and looked around that she realized who was sitting quietly beside her. On her right, was her good friend Angela, but to her left, was her good old neighbor, Shinji. She almost jumped when she saw him.
Hi! he smiled.
What are you doing here? she whispered.
What do you mean? This is my classroom, he said, welcome.
Sakura stared at him, and felt dizzy, but her troubles didnt stop there as the door slid open once again, and another girl came in, Sorry Im late, I had some problems at home.
Sakura looked up, and saw the familiar face Celeste. Sakura looked away as Celeste walked over to say her morning greetings to Shinji, Ohayou, Shinji-kun. (Ohayou おはよう means good morning.) She didnt seem to notice Sakura as she went by and sat down directly behind Shinji.
Sakura lost all her thoughts about Shinji and tried to blend into the class as much as possible. Im really dead this time; shell notice me eventually. Man, whats with that girl, I never even thought that this kind of person existed!
Celeste is a pretty girl, its just that her attitude stinks although she underestimates most people, she doesnt overestimate herself, she knows perfectly well her capabilities without the need of people reminding her. She had short hair just reaching her shoulders, giving her the cute look, yet sometimes a mature look, and also giving her the movement space she needed during Martial Arts. She had lightly tanned skin, which looked good in most clothing, and also showing her sporty personality.
She had large orange eyes that looked so dreamy and hypnotic, that many could not take their eyes away. Cute cherry lips that looked so watery and sweet, that looks like its always looking for a kiss, and it feels as if theres always sugar sprinkled on it.
Surprisingly to Sakura, as the day passed, Celeste had not even looked her way once, as if she totally just didnt know that she was there. That day after school, when Sakura went to her lockers again, she was lost in her sea of thoughts, wondering, I wonder if Celeste had already forgotten about me. She seemed a little strange today, or maybe, its just that she was a little strange the other day. I wonder why she seemed so different
Its just that Ive been next to you all day, and the teachers were there too, thats why she didnt do anything to you or even say anything to you, a voice said from behind.
Sakura didnt need to turn around to see who it was. Anyway, who else could it be other than Shinji who seemed to be everywhere, and pops up without any warnings? Sakura just wondered how he knew what she was thinking.
See, he continued, thats why you should always stay near me, so youll be safe, he smiled cheekily.
Get lost, Sakura answered coldly.
Hey, thats mean
Shinji complained. Sakura laughed as Celeste looked on in the shadows with a darkened face that had a shade of green.

Comments
However, even though it wasn't all that long, this chapter packed quite a punch. You are interweaving some powerful plotlines, and I of course am looking forward to reading the next chapter, but....I'm really busy right now, so I have to go.
Thanks for showing us this superb chapter.
